I know you can meet him at Disney's California Adventure, but can you meet him in WDW? And if so, where? Thanks!

Unfortunately, not yet. I would think they are working on it though.

If I remember what I read on another thread correctly, Black Panther is on some mural inside an Islands of Adventure building meaning he can't be used east of the Mississippi River compared to the Guardians who are not used in the mural allowing the GotG coaster to happen at EPCOT.

A black panther M&G would be huge.

Maybe they could get a Killmonger M&G if they can't black panther

If you want to see Black Panther you can always shoot over to California and meet him in DCA! (Super helpful I know)

No Black Panther at Disneyworld. He’s considered part of the avengers so means Universal gets him east of Mississippi. Guardians and Dr Strange aren’t avengers, so that’s how they can have them at WDW.

Basically the contract is any Avenger and Avenger villain goes to Universal (and this is based on the comics not movies). So that means Iron Man, Spider-Man, Captain America, Hulk, Thor, etc...

Guardians of the galaxy will be in the next Avengers movie

That Universal contract is so weird and stupid. Universal should just sign over all rights to Disney and be done with it

Yeah, but they won’t be “Avengers”. Just another group that helps the Avengers.

I doubt if Uni thinks it’s stupid. And they do terrific meet and greets over there!!

It's not just "Avengers" but any character that is depicted at Universal, even if just on the side of a building. That entire park was built well before Spider-Man was associated with the Avengers (well, he was a "reserve member" but almost everyone in the Marvel Universe is). Guardians of the Galaxy weren't at all prominent at the time IOA was built, so they were left out. IOA focuses on the hot "90's" characters, so there is a lot of X-Men, Spider-Man, even Fantastic Four. Of course, those are the properties not owned by Disney for cinematic purposes, interestingly enough. Dr. Strange fell through the cracks, despite being an off & on Avenger, so he's okay. I think Captain Marvel will be as well, and she's a pretty stalwart member of the Avengers. As far as I know, if you can't find them in any way at IOA, they are fair game, no matter which group they belong to.

They might be able to get around it by putting him/them on the Marvel Days at Sea on the cruise line.
