Can you link AP rate cash ressies to Points ressie??

I know you can link cash ressies made through MS but what about AP ressies? Would they make you move out, switch rooms??? Thanks

Reservations made through CRO/WDWTC (like AP-discounted reservations) cannot be linked to a points reservation.

The best you can do is cross reference the CRO reservation number on the DVC points reservation and vice versa. Add a request to both not to change rooms. Repeat the request at check in. DVC will try to keep you in the same room if at all possible -it is not always possible.

At a minimum, you will have to check out and back in again between the cash and points reservations.

If you book the cash reservation through MS, the reservations can be linked. However, you cannot get an AP discount on a cash room booked through MS.

Keep in mind that some room types are not available for cash reservations at all. For example, the dedicated 2 bedroom units with two queen beds in the second bedroom at the BCV cannot be reserved for cash. Neither can the Boardwalk view units at the BWV

I added a night with an AP rate once at OKW. I booked Sunday to Thursday nights on points, Friday night on AP rate. I cross referenced the reservations and mentioned it at check-in on Sunday. On Friday morning I had to go to the front desk and get new keys and a new parking pass. We did not have to move. We did get full housekeeping service on Friday.

we had a similar scenerio (points 1bdrm 1st night, CM discounted 1 bdrm 2nd & 3rd nights, points 1 bdrm nights 4-11). told the CMs when booking each resiie, & to pls note it.
imagine our surprise when we found ourselves upgraded to boardwalk view on the cash nights lol (before the seperation of boardwalk views).
we had to check-out at 11AM on each ressie, & check-in (rooms ready about 6PM). just be forewarned, it is possible that you might have to move
