I have to make an entree for a function at dd's school. I am making a super easy chicken dish, which will keep fine in the crockpot, but I usually serve it over rice. If I make a separate thing of rice, could I keep it warm and edible in a second crockpot? Anyone have experience?

Thanks!

I don't have experience, but I bet if you put the rice in one of the crockpot liners with a little water underneath it it would stay moist and wouldn't burn. Maybe give it a try at home first since rice is relatively cheap.

Do you know anyone with a rice cooker you could borrow? I have friends who eat lots of rice and they pretty much keep rice warm all day for people eating at different times in their rice cooker.
