Can you just email your guide?

I get tired of the phone tag and am at my computer most of the day anyway. Is there a standard guide email such as "name@_______.com"?

We have never corresponded with our guide via email. Is it simply not done?

While a guide may make their email address available to you, it is really intended for internal Disney corporate communications. The DVC board policy is to not allow a personal CM email address to be posted, but you can post the more generic contact address, like for members services or member satisfaction.

Also, some report guides are discouraged from certain types of email correspondance (whether that is true or not?) for legal reasons.

I think they are too busy not returning phone calls to be bothered with not replying to emails.

I email my guide, but he always replies with a phone call.

We also do this and depending what the subject is he will either email or call back promptly.
