I am planning a trip to Disney in January and want to have all the stuff I need to start Pin trading can you point me in the direction to find out information about what kind of pins to start with and also do you think my kids are to younge to start they will be 3 1/2 and 5 when we go and we just bought DVC so I was thinking it is something we can start to do on our different trips. any websites or books for infor would be great

also check out dizpins - info on upcoming pin releases and events

and pinpics.com

they have a database of pins added by traders as they are found so you can try and search to find out the history behind any pins you find, like where they were first released, how much they cost, if they are limited by how many, if they have been available in more than one park etc

I recommend ordering "cheap pins" from one of the many sites listed on the budget board. What I like to do is order however many pins they are getting as matching. (If I want them to have 15 traders they get 15 Winnie the Pooh pins). This way, they will want to trade. The first year when my kids were younger, with all different pins, deciding what to trade was a HUGE decision. Went to all matching and than the big decision was only what to trade for.
