Can you help me recall this Indian Reservation I stayed at in Oregon

It was back in the late 80's. I was visiting a friend who was at a convention. They did some demonstrations on the Native American way of life. It wasn't too far from Mt. Hood. We may be headed out that way & we'd love to take our boys there. Anyone know what I am talking about?

Well if the place had a great pool and hot springs that would be Kahneeta Hot Springs. It is on the "other" side of Mt Hood (from Portland) It has really changed over the years. They've added a nice resort style hotel and a casino. We love to go over the mountain with the kids to hit the pool though! Have a great trip!

I know there was no swimming pool or casino but it was 1988 so it could have changed a lot since my last visit. I do recall them do a pow wow for the group. They had a nice hotel with a restaruant. I recall having chicken cooked in a clay pot that I had to hammer open - it was delicious. They also had huge tee pees that you could sleep in. We did sleep in one but ended up pitching our tent inside of the TP because of the mesquitos.
