QUESTIONS:

1. Are all of these sit down places? Are any counter service?
2. I am assuming you can go through the line and just get a snack and not the entire meal if it is a snack time?
3. Which of these places offers breakfast/coffee?
4. Will this take a lot of time? We are only going to SW ONE day, so I really don't want to spend 3 hours of our time in line. The park is only open from 9am-6pm the day we are going, so that doesn't leave us much extra time.

Thanks!

Dawn

The restaurants are all counter service places,Sea World doesn't really have many table service restaurants with servers so the restaurants in the dining plan are the main restaurants in the park, most have indoor seating, some of them have outdoor seating.

At any time you can go through the line and get a soda,a bottle of water,a dessert or some strawberries as a snack. So the dining deal is almost a must do if you go in summer when it's hot and you need to drink constantly. Also a must do if you're going to be in the park all day and the park has late hours giving you time to get several meals in along with snacks and drinks throughout the day.

I believe Voyagers smokehouse is the restaurant open early offering breakfast. The restaurants can get busy at certain times especially during lunch and if you go during a busy day so you might have to stand in line 10 minutes ocassionally, other times you might be able to go right through.

With the park closing at 6pm it might or might not be worth it to get the deal, you have to figure out if it might be worth it for you.The BOGO 1/2 off deal is good but Sea World offers this because with the park closing at 6pm it's likely a good percentage of those who get it might not get their moneys worth.A typical entree, dessert and soda or water will likely cost around $7-$12 for the entree,$3-$4 for the dessert or side and $3 for the drink,so combined about $14-$19.With the offer they have it's like $50 for two people so it's a pretty good deal as long as you get to the park early, get a couple of meals, snacks and drinks in.

For the breakfast restaurant get a map at the entrance and find out which one it is serving breakfast. During non holidays seafire inn serves breakfast but during holidays we find it to be voyagers. So now we double check the map to be sure.

It is important to note that you can go through the line an endless number of times. It basically means that if the lines are short you get free drinks all day long and that alone can be worth a lot.

There is only 1 restaurant open for breakfast, but if you squeeze in 3 meals + drinks it will be well worth the money...

THANK YOU!

I spent some time going through each restaurant and I don't see any breakfast foods on the menu. :confused3

Is there a non-Seaworld.com website that may have more info?

When we were there recently for breakfast they had some breakfast pastries, along with french toast sticks, a breakfast burrito, and a breakfast plate (eggs, fried potatoes, toast and sausage). In August it was at Seafire Inn when we were there. Technically Seaworld DOES have table service type meal options, including the Dine With Shamu, and the Shark restaurant. I have done the dine with Shamu and found it to be excellent, and we really enjoyed the trainer information as I have a future marine bioligy kid. We haven't done the shark restaurant yet. I think they do also have some kind of Sesame Street thing, which we haven't done as my kids are WAY to old for that at 13 and 15. Of course, these limited things are not included on the dining deal. However, we have found that we usually do get the deal at both SeaWorld and Busch Gardens, and really enjoy it. I feel they have better quality food (and especially desserts) than Disney/Universal, and love the freedom to stop in and get a bottle of water and some fruit for a snack throughout the day. The restaurants are all through the park, too, which makes it handy as you are never far away from someplace you can use it.
