Can you have your luggage delivered to DVC Villas by DME without taking the Bus?

I'm planning a trip with friends who will not be taking the DME bus from the airport to the resort, but need to rent a minivan. However they still like the luxury of having their luggage delivered to their DVC Villa by placing the YELLOW DME bands on them.

Will DME take their luggage to their DVC Villa if we put on the yellow bands on them.

Normally when I use DME, I give the DME welcome center my luggage receipts.

So I am wondering if DME requires the luggage receipts in order to deliver their luggage (yellow banded) to the DVC resort?

Any suggestions or experience trying to do this.

I believe to go back to the airport and do the Luggage Resort Check In (forget what it is called), doesn't matter if you use DME or not, is that correct?

DenLo has given you the info for the yellow tags and not taking the bus.

You are correct that RAC is separate from DME for the return to MCO.. Your airline just has to participate in RAC to use it.
