Can you have two user names on one computer?

My wife likes to post on the Resorts Board and the Restaurant Board and uses my username. She often says some, you know, rather girly stuff, so I make her sign the bottom of the post with lucysmom. You know, so I can retain my manly dignity. M

So, I've tried to register her as lucysmom, but it keeps telling me I'm already registered as lucysdad. Does anyone know of a way to register two different people on the same computer? So we can each have our own identity?

Trying deleting your cookies and internet files. Do you have two different e-mail accounts? I think you can only have one name per e-mail account

Go to the Home page and log out. Then click Register, but make sure you use a different email address for the second account. Then, voila!

First, go to your User Cp, then to Edit Options here on the DIS. There, make sure that the Automatically login when you return to the site? (uses cookies) is set to NO.

Then log out from the main menu page (I never found any other place to log out). Go to your browser tool bar at the top (assume you use IE 6). Go to Tools, Internet Options. Click on Delete Files and do the OK. If you don't really have any log on cookies for other sites, I would also clear the Delete Cookies there.

Best then would be to reboot, start clean.

Come to the DIS and see if she can register then, knowing she does need a seperate email address. If any problem, make a post on the Tech board, you'll get good help there.

ok hey a techie question da frog can answer we leave my account( internet junkie) set to auto log on, clear your cookies, returnb to dis then using a second e mail,, dw used ip account i used yahoo, register her id, you'll alway have toi type in the second or third ids passwords, only one can stay set auto for somereason, either that or i cant figure it out yet

ETA btw dan, you can also log out from the reply page , thers a button next to the user id
