We are getting married on our cruise and I was thinking about kids club bands. I know they wear them for the duration of the cruise. I really don't want them on in wedding photos obviously. So will they take them off and give them new ones after the wedding? If I have to pay for another one i'm totally fine with that. I just didn't want to get them put on then find out it causes a huge problem afterwards.

I believe the bands can be removed. They just must be put back on when returning to the club.

Yes, they can be taken off. My son is not able to wear the band 24 hours, so we let them know the first time we checked in. When he was done each day, they cut off the "lock". They put a new one on the next morning when he checked in. You just need to make sure you don't lose the band. That is what you have to pay for if it gets misplaced. :)

The kids club staff is happy to reattach the bands when necessary. They irritate my kids sometimes, so we snip the lock off with nail clippers and remove the band until next time they enter the club.

My DD hates the bands and the instant she leaves the club, takes it off. Just ask them to make the little safety connector thing a little loose so they can remove it. We asked last time and it was no problem. The little strap is easy to move up and then you can unsnap the band.

You can ask for the lock to be cut, or with a bit of strength you can just slide the lock along and take it off that way (that's how I take all kids bands off, I hate clipping it as I always feel like I'm gonna slip).
Like others have said, just don't lose the bands as theres a deposit on them.
Also if there's more than one child, just ask for them to double check which band belongs to which child as they look exactly the same.

They can be removed and reattached, I don't think they like to advertise or encourage this for obvious reasons but certainly wedding photos is a good reason to do this for you.

My granddaughter (9) developed a rash when wearing it. The club attendants were happy to remove it and we attached to her lanyard. Not a problem.

We did this too.

Do you mean they let her in and out of the clubs with it attached to her lanyard or was it just there for safekeeping while not in the clubs and had to be worn while in the club?
