Can you have items in your pocket when entering a line?

Can you have items such as cell phones, keys, etc in your pockets when you enter a line?

I know that they don't allow bags or fanny packs or large items.

On the outdoor coasters, Hulk, Dragon Challenge and Rip Rid Rockit, you cannot.

Only the first three. Yes you have to waste time putting your phone in so you don't have to waste time getting a new phone because yours flew out of your pocket and smashed. There have been too many issues of injuries at Universal because of loose items in pockets.

I bet it's a lot more annoying to be hit with someone else's phone, sunglasses, pocket change....

RRR, Hulk, and Dragon Challenge are the only ones that allow nothing at all, not even anything in pockets.

Mummy, Forbidden Journey, Gringotts, Men in Black (I think that's the whole list) also require lockers for loose articles, but they WILL allow a three-prong fanny/waist pack and/or items that are secure in, say, pockets of cargo shorts. But NO backpacks, purses, handbags, gift shop bags, etc.... at all.

You just can't have loose things in your pockets or in your hands. So no keys, loose change, cameras, phones, etc. Anything that can fly out and hurt somebody. A person was blinded on Dragon Challenge from loose change.

Jewelry is fine. Lanyards are fine. Glasses are fine.

Anything small and non-metal that fits in your pockets should be fine - you go through metal detectors at the 3 big coasters, but they aren't going to pat you down like airport security (they do have metal detector wands though). Bear in mind though that these aren't Disney rides...they are major coasters...and you very well might loose things if they are in your pockets.

The lockers aren't anywhere near a big deal as people seem to think... You put in a fingerprint, throw your stuff in the locker and leave - takes a minute. And they are free...

Not now, and that's a heck of a walk back to the lockers. Just put your phone etc. in the locker.

They have also added new lockers on The Hulk that you just scan your park ticket to lock/unlock. So so much quicker than faffing around with remembering the locker number and using a fingerprint. Hopefully they will get added to other rides soon.

Yes, I never found them difficult before, but this is even easier now.
