Can you have a real Honeymoon before a fake wedding? The Hero and his Princess return!

Yay, I'm in! As a fellow military wife, I can completely understand all the hoops you are jumping through for your wedding and honeymoon. Nothing is easy or normal when it comes to military life!

We'll be there just before you! May is such a wonderful time to visit. I totally love CBR too, we were thinking about staying there, but I couldn't be swayed from my fav moderate, POR.

I'm excited to see more updates!:goodvibes

AK is a great first full park day! :yay: on visiting Tusker House again...am looking forward to eating there.

If only we could create the perfect world...we would all be on :cloud9:!

I just read your wedding TR, and you had such a beautiful ceremony! I loved the pictures, the SOG resort is so pretty and your Poly pics were very romantic!

Did you tell your families in advance that you were headed to Disney to get married, or was it a secret elopement! :lovestruc

ANIMAL KINGDOM. It is so fun there!
And oh my gosh, tator tots, yum! I love them too.
Hopefully everything will work according to plan.

We both love the AK, and thank you for loving tots :)

YAY!!! I am glad you are following! You will have to tell me all about your visit, and how things are when you go, so we are prepared! (like how I have you working for me now :lmao: )

I am excited to try it. Both times I have gone down, we have done a full MK day first. I figure a nice night at MK then onward to AK will be a nice shake up, but won't go against tradition!

Thank you!
We did tell our closest family, we didn't want any hurt feelings there.

So after our crazy day of AK, we will currently be headed over to the Grand Floridian for dinner at Narcoossee's. The reason I say currently, is I just don't know if it fits the feel of our crazy AK day.
We will be eating there, I am just thinking of maybe switching it our for another night, and trying Saana at the recommendation of a wonderful DISer :)

We do have an open dinner on our Hollywood Studio's day... or I could switch our Hoop De Doo to that day, and do Narcoossee's on our Down Town Disney day, which is sorta our day off.....

Been having computer issues but I'm finally here! Loved the first TR and all the beautiful wedding pics and can't wait to hear all about the REAL honeymoon!!:cool1:

Full day #2 will be filled with Magic Kingdom fun!!!

Because of the PM extra magic hours, and our late dinner the night before this will be a late start day for us. I figure that with the travel, and the long day before it will be nice to sleep in and relax in the morning.
We will be starting our first full day in the MK with breakfast at Chef Mickey!
Chef Mickey last year is where Joshua received his first ever set of ears!

We both love the characters, and think the food (breakfast food at least) is great.

Our reservation is for 11, so my hope is that we can sleep in, take the bus to MK then take the monorail over to the contemporary, as we both love ridding the monorail. I know that it makes some cringe, but we promised ourselves we would take this trip at a slower pace. Part of that slower pace is to sleep in!

Oooh, I second Sanaa, it is delish! I really like it because it is so different from the usual Disney fare. I went with a group and every person liked their meal. You have to be a little adventurous, the food at Sanaa is more authentic then you'd find at say, Marrakesh, with a variety of different flavors and spices, but oh so good!

Narcoosee's is OK, but if you are looking for a signature dining experience, and you want to stay in the AK area, I highly recommend Jiko. I think the food is way better at Jiko, and the wine list if fabulous. It is not as intimate a restaurant as Narcoosees, but if you have dinner there and then have a nightcap at Victoria falls and take a moonlight stroll around the savannah, you will have yourselves a very romantic evening.

I think we are looking for the more intimate romantic this time around. Husband thinks that we can go from AK to Narcoosees, we will see I guess! Now you guys have me really wanting to dine in the AK area!

So, I signed up to do a survey today. touringplans.com was looking for people planning honeymoons! In exchange, I get a free year of service :cool1::cool1:

Off to compare and plan, I will be chatting soon!!

Yay!! I love touringplans, my Disney vacation planning would be lost without their crowd calender. I hope you find it extra useful.

Thanks for introducing me to so many wonderful Disney things!!!!

Love hearing what your plans are. I am so open to anything our group wants to do, but it's nice to hear what other people are planning and what their experience was.

:cheer2: SO excited! :cheer2:

So far I am, I don't think we will be changing any days, but I am rearranging some plans a bit to make sure we are making the most of our time!

I have found that the way I am planning has changed since I got touringplans! I hope you are in for the ride, because things are becoming much more complicated!

So the plan for our second full day, and our first full day in MK really picks up after breakfast with Chef Mickey!

Crowd level is being called for a 6.3, making it the lowest crowd of the day. However, due to the PM extra magic hours, it is not the only recommended park of the day. 6.3 is a higher crowed level

While most people plan to hit the parks first thing in the morning to get everything done, we are taking the opposite stance, because in my experience the park cleared out after about 11:30 PM as people got tired!

We are thinking that we will hit the MK at about 12:30, and head strait to Fantasy land to pick up FastPasses to Peter Pan's flight! (projected return time of between 3-4)
From there it is just a short walk to one of our favorite attractions!

We had so much fun with this last time we went! I am guessingish that we will make it to PhilharMagic around 1, which should give us a 10 min wait
