Can you give a plan on how to do SW in a day?

We have been to SW in California...but that is it...I love SW, but it always seems so hard to fit it in.
So if I give it one day what would you do to see the most?

Thanks,

Wendy

Be there before opening. Look at the showtimes prior to your visit and decide what is important to you. Maps and showtimes are available online. Multitask - pick up a meal and take it with you for the half hour and/or 45 minutes to arrive before Believe or Blue Horizons and eat then. If you think a little about it, it shouldn't be an issue to see everything in the day.
I don't know what age group you have. If you have young ones, sometimes that can slow you down.
Plan on having fun and not rushing too much. Pick out what's important. Good luck!

Plan your trip around the shows. If you stay for the night Sea Lion show which is really funny BTW (need to see other shows first though) and Mistify, there seems to be time with fewer shows going on or shows that you have already seen. Between 5 or 5:30 and 8:15 is a good time to eat, view the manatees, watch the dolphins underwater while the sun is shining through their water( before the 5:30 feeding time is when we have seen them playing more and the one making its own rings to play with several times), feed the sea lions, and ride Kracken a couple times(especially if you can use the single line)Journey seems to always have a long line at this time, so do it early in the morning if you can. One thing we noticed last week when we were there-pointed out by my son the CM from DW, the ride times are not as precise as Disney. LOL It was posted there was a 10 minute wait for Kracken but it was more like a 20-30 minute wait. That was the longest he has had to wait for it so far this year.

As for eating your meal while standing waiting to get into or inside a stadium while waiting for a show???? Relax take time to sit and enjoy a meal in the shade or air conditioning. We usually eat a late lunch if we are there all day and staying for the night shows and make it work as dinner, too. Then we have a waffle cone or a big snack of some type while waiting for a show or Mysify. If a line is wrapping around the stadiums 40 minutes before a show we usually wait until they open the stadium and go in after the lines are gone. We usually get OK seats but not in splash zone and not always in the center section.

I agree w/ you. I like to sit and relax by the water or at the Bud house (great sandwiches!) But the poster wants the fastest way. And that does cut time. One evening, we cut it a little close, so I left DH in line waiting for Believe while I ran and grabbed some food from the little place across from Shamu stadium. By the time, I had gotten stuff, he was in. We noshed down for the 30 minutes while waiting for the show to start. DD had to see Believe one more time so we were sneaking in one more show.
