Can You Get Voucher On Expedia If the Airfare Goes Down?

Just wondering if you were to buy your airfare on Expedia, and the price drops, can you get vouchers for the difference?

That is the exact reason I buy directly from the airlines. Unless Travelocity or Expedia have a GREAT sale, it isn't worth it if the fares go down. When I am ready to buy, I check the airlines website and then call and ask them what their phone price is. The last couple of years it has been the same. I even put tickets on hold last year and when I called to purchase them (had to run it by DH) the price had gone down. I was shocked, but very happy!

True, it is always good to ask.

Like "idon'tknow" I always buy directly from the airlines. I generally do not call, but, purchase right off the website. The last few years we have flown SWA exclusively and they are so easy to exchange with. I will say if I was flying with someone else, I might use the phone instead.

I always purchase our airfare on line direct from the airline too.

However, I was checking for my sister who purchased airfare on Expedia, at what I think is a high price. I was hoping that if the fare went down, she could get a voucher. She purchased airfare from Newark to Hamilton, Bermuda for October, and the fare was $568 pp r/t.

The reverse can also be a problem. I bought from Delta's website and found a much lower price on Travelocity a couple months later. Delta won't match and their website price is now higher than what I paid originally.
