Can you get the dining plan if you have DVC points and buy tickets through AAA?

I wanted to rent points for a 7 day stay and get the dining plan for the same length of time, but my question is can I then buy my tickets through AAA, so that I can get AAA parking? If so, how? I really have never tried to rent points or tried the dining plan. I have purchased everything through AAA before, but trying it this way is a little trickier/confusing to do.

As long as you are going through the DVC, you can purchase the dining plan. There is no tickets package requirement.

The last post is correct, with DVC, there is no relation to tickets and the DDP.

However, the DVC member will need to reserve the dining plan for you. Member services used to do this for renters/guests of members, but have discontinued this practice.

And you must be staying at a DVC resort, you can not get the DDP if you are using DVC points to stay at a regular non-DVC WDW resort.

I was under the impression that you needed a package with AAA to get the parking pass. Tickets only didn't count last year when I sent DH to the AAA office.
