Can you get half day tickets to the parks?

We arrive at DL probably around 4.30 and although we already have our tickets we are a day short if we ant to go for the first afternoon. Now I've heard of some places where you can get a discount ticket after 4 in the afternoon. Is that the case at Disney?

No.

Disneyland is not wanting for guests after 4pm or any hour actually, so they don't offer the ticket.

The fact that there are so many annual passholders that descend upon the park after work or school, especially on Friday nights, probably make a "twilight pass" option unlikely.

No, but the difference between a 3 day ticket and a 4 day is only $15 and the difference between 4 and 5 days is $10 more. So 10 or 15 bucks for a "half" day isn't bad.

sadly no. My father in law met my wife and I at the park at 5:30 when they closed at 8pm. No discount whatsoever.

The only time I have gotten a "twilight" ticket was when I was attending a convention at the Anaheim Convention Center. Attendees were able to buy discounted tickets, including the twilight ticket which was good after 4:00 p.m., or the last four hours of the park being open, whichever was longer.

since you are in Oz from what I understand there is a 14day pass available to NZ and Aus (but not 100% sure on where it is sold in Oz) my research here put it at about $30ish more than the 5day pass.

Again this might not be a regular thing - my friend works in a travel agency here and she got the price for me but the lucky thing is relaxing in Tahiti this week so can't ask her
