Can you get from monorail to skyliner without entering Epcot?

Staying at MK area resort and trying to get to Hollywood Studios without having to ride the bus. If park-hopping is allowed, I know we could go through Epcot. Otherwise, maybe we would be better off doing a split stay on Hollywood Studios day.

Sorry, no. Monorail is at the front entrance, skyliner is at the back. And when we were there a couple weeks ago, monorail from MK to Epcot was not running. I'd imagine park hopping is its primary use, so not currently needed, although it is awful convenient for MK resort guests to get to Epcot that way.

Also fairly certain the Epcot monorail is still closed anyway. But that wouldn't really make a difference as you still wouldn't be able to get to the other side of the park without taking a bus.

When are you going? As both PPs have said, the EPCOT monorail is not currently running, and you do need tickets to get through the park to the Skyliner. Park Hopping is not currently available. They are selling Park Hopper tickets for 2021, but no one knows how those will work with regard to the park reservation system.

April 2021. Thinking ahead about hotel reservations since it is Star Wars run weekend.
There still haven't been any announcements made. You won't have problems with the buses to Hollywood Studios, to be honest. I understand wanting to try the Skyliner, but you could take it at another time.
