Can you get dropped off at the parks and not get charged for parking?

Wondering if this can be done - DH is not necessarily going to the parks every day with me and three munchkins so just looking to save the $14 parking fee. Can he just drop us off and drive back to the hotel without getting charged for parking? Thanks.

Are you staying on site? Disney resort guests don't have to pay for parking.

I am pretty sure that you will be able to be dropped off and not pay for parking anyway.

As a suggestion, if you're staying off site you could always drive by one of the monorail resorts and drop off there without paying to park. Once to Epcot you could always take the boat from there to DHS. That would cover three of the parks. Not sure how to do Animal Kingdom.

Yes, there is a drop off zone at each park, just tell the parking attendant you are dropping off and they will direct you.

Yes - we're staying off site for the first time with kids (3 kids bumps us out of the value resorts so we've been exploring staying off site and doing a cost analysis). Thanks for the advice.

About the drop off zone - about how far is it from the entrance. Just wondering if it is a comparable walk to where they let you off with the Disney buses.

The drop off area is not far from where the trams drop off day guests from the parking lots.

In the case of the Magic Kingdom the drop off is near the TTC concourse where you board the monorails or ferry. As you reach the toll plaza, get over to the right, either 2'nd or 3'rd booth depending on how busy it is. After telling the attendant you are dropping of, simply drive on and immediately bear right. Go left at the first light you can. The drop off is a little ways down.
