We are planning a 4 night wonder in July 2003. Can we get the Disney Club $50 stateroom credit if we cruise on points? I'm not sure if they are offering it for cruises in 2003.

Also not sure if we should join the Disney Club if we can't get the credit.

I would like more info on this as well-we have Disney Club and booked a week ago, no idea there was a DC credit.

You should wait for a definitive answer from the experts, but I'm pretty certain that this question has been asked before and that the answer is no.

The answer is a definite no. In fact I just disembarked the Wonder last week and can assure you it is not possible. :(

I got a "no" but there was someone on the DCL board who wrote that they booked on points and got the credit, that's what prompted me to call. I guess that person just got a CM that would do it for them. Sorry I can't remember the person who got it, but someone did - who was DVC and booked on points - but it was not me:(

There are many instances where inquiries about the various credits may have been given a positive answer on the phone, but with the passengers arriving to find the credit never posted to their account. MS is adamant about not giving the Disney Club credit to any cruisers, so I would be very surprised to find anyone receiving such credit recently.

The only credit we ever got on DCL was the $150 Fall Fantasty credit. We got it last year in November and will again this year in September. I guess you've got to get something for cruising in hurricane season! Anita.

So what is the best way to book a cruise-using points or try to get a special code/discount? I've been searching these boards and the cruise section also and am really at a loss!!!
How far in advance can you book a cruise? It seems that there are people who already have booked cruises for summer 2004! I don't even know what questions to ask. HELP!

with points you can only book 11 months in advance, with cash it can be a lot further out than that, like 18 months it seems. I don't really know what the best deal is, whether to use points or cash, but in my case, we can only afford to do the cruise by using points.

Right now, Disney cruises may be booked thru April, 2004 for cash reservations.

DVC points may be used for cruises up to 11 months in the future.

I don't know about the Disney Club, but we did receive a cash credit as Castaway Club members when we booked another cruise with DVC points within a couple of months of our last cruise.

Good Luck,
