Yes, I have done it several times. You have to use the Costoc site in the US, Costco.com. I used to rent form both ALAMO, which is oniste at Disney, and Budget.
Thanks folks. I had a look last night and it looked ok but the "rack rates" it started with seemed high...but I'll keep an eye on it as my trip gets closer and rates change. WHo knew? (Well, clearly you did!)

Oh, ugh. Last night I was getting prices of $350-500+ for 10 days in January. When we went last May, we got a week in an SUV for $160. But I will keep checking. We have been in other situations where changing anything meant losing the rate, but gotta get a good rate first to worry about losing it...I was very surprised, actually, while there we wanted to extend our rental by 2 days halfway through our trip, and they pro-rated our original rate--have never had that happen, best case is usually the extension is at the higher rate. (We rented through Dollar last time.)
Those rates will go down - we started out last year with a minivan rate of close to $1600 for 3 weeks in Feb...
By the time we went, it was down to $575 - total!
But like Scratch said, you have to check - every other day.
Great thing about alamo through costco, is that your add'l driver is free.
For this Christmas, we've booked through costco with Budget..so far, we've got the minivan rate down to $900 for our 3 weeks - after starting out at nearly $2000.
We have booked at Alamo several times using the Costco code.
But lately. Alamo has become rather expensive. If you don't mind a five minute shuttle ride from the airport, both Thrifty and Payless seem to have pretty reasonable rates. I am doing this in October for the first time.
