Can you fax a room request to AKL?

I've faxed room requests in the past - but that was a few years ago. Does AKL take faxed room requests? If so, what is the fax number? Thanks!

Just call reservations and ask that your requests be added to your reservation. Most resorts are ignoring the faxes.

Some room assigners are better than others just as some resorts are better than others. People like to rationalize the reason for their not getting their requests and it seems that this is an easy one to use. "

I do both- have it noted on my reservation and fax a request. It only takes a minute to do and it doesn't hurt to fax, so why not? The worse thing they could do is ignore it and you'd be no worse off.

Recently a CM from CBR posted on this site that they pay MORE attention to faxed requests than the ones noted on the reservations.

I don't think the ignoring the faxes is an excuse. There are been just a few reports that CM's actually look at the faxes and many more where they are being ignored.

Just go with the attitude that it is just a request. You can also ask when you check in.
