Can you ever see Kanga and Roo or Rabbit?

We have an ADR PS for Crystal palace, but DD4 is desperate to see the other characters in Winnie the Pooh. mostly Kanga and roo.

We are going to the MNSSHP, in CASE we see them there, as I beleive unusual characters are more likely to be there, though these arent "villian like".


Any other place to look please ????

I've never seen Kanga or Roo, except on the parade float, but Rabbit I have seen in the CP once out of about 10 times, and in the 100 acre wood area, and back before 100 acre woods, Rabbit was there at rope drop for the Toon Town opening--an hour after regular park opening.

I saw Rabbit last week at MGM! He was near WWTBAMPI. Across from the Playhouse Disney characters. My only disappointment was that there was only one CM to about 10 characters appearing in that area. I was really hoping to get DH and I together in the pic but the CM was nowhere to be found

Oh well. At least I got in the pic!!! Hope you find Kanga and Roo also!

Rabbit doesn't get out as much as the other Pooh characters, but he does seem to make some appearences. I finally found him at 1900 Park Fare's breakfast, but I don't think he's even there a whole lot.

wdisnew.co.uk's Character Guide lists Kanga as a substitute character at Crystal Palace, but this is the only place I've heard that so I don't know if that is acurate. I would guess if it's true, then she's there only an very very rare occasions. I've only seen her in parades (I think she's still in the MNSSHP Parade and the Christmas Parade).

Vsimeone: You are so lucky to have a picture with Rabbit. The only time we saw him was on a float at MNSSHP back in 2001. I hope we get lucky and see him out on our trip in a couple of weeks.

Lindy Loo - Rabbit also appears at Epcot at UK.

There were reports of Kanga & Roo at Toontown's Teardrop near the train back in Jan. - but it was during training sessions.

The unusual characters at MNSSHP aren't just villains. Rabbit was reported being at MVMCP last year, maybe he'll be at MNSSHP.

Good luck finding him. We've managed to get quite a collection of characters, but Rabbit has eluded us so far.

We met him I believe it was at the store TOY SOLDIER in the UK section of Epcot.

We saw Rabbit last week at MGM on Wednesday near WWTBAM. We also saw Mr. Smee there.

DS is starting to balk at character pictures (since he is almost 10) but he will tolerate pics with characters we don't already have. That same day we saw Snow White WITH the Prince in the Animation building, and the Wicked Queen, too! Also got Frozone from the Incredibles. It was a great character day for us!

That's great news! The face characters have been rare at MGM for almost a year. Snow White's Prince is one DD would love to find.

Gosh... I'm not sure who all was there. They were actually coming and going at the time. We were looking for "new" or "rare" characters as we're just two old farts that were taking a handful of pictures! I know that Kim Possible and Ron Stoppable were right on the other side of the street and some characters from Playhouse Disney. My kids are 15 and 18 now so I'm not sure who they all were!!!

I believe that Pooh and Tigger were right down from Rabbit. They were fairly spread out and I couldn't believe only one CM that we could see was in the area!

Jackskellingtonsgirl - I wish I would have thought at the time to go to the Animation bldg. I know characters hang out there but I wasn't even thinking about it at the time! I would have LOVED to get Snow White with her prince!!!

Be sure and check out the animation building at mgm for Rabbit, he seems to be appearing there often these days, I saw him there when I was down in May/June. I wish Kanga and Roo would do meets, that would be great!!!

sounds like a training group. must be the new location.

Hopefully Rabbit will be out next April when we go down the week after Easter. We saw him last year at the Christmas Party but we were in a hurry to find a spot for the fireworks and missed him.

Its soooooooooooo hard to explain to my DD why Pooh is everywhere ( even at CP AND 1900 PF for B/fast!) yet the others are impossible ot at least very hard to find!

Wow! This is a great thread for character information! I heard of a big group of training characters meeting inside the Animation Building, so I wonder if this group near Millionaire is just a new spot for them. But this thread also shows how random Rabbit can be, as he's been seen in so many different locations! I would love to meet Kanga someday, too!

The only time ever you will see Kanga is at Crystal palace if non of the other characters are avalable. The reason for this is i believe there is like only two costumes and theyare locked away in the Special events room. Both Rabbit and Kanaga have large feet so it's impossible for them to do table to table meets, and kanaga has a large tail that can't navigate as well. So both of them have to stand at the front of the resteraunt and greet people.
