Is it possible to enjoy dinner at the CG with only about an hour?

I want to see the MSEP and WISHES at the MK after dinner, but am thinking maybe that's too ambitious. I do want to enjoy the dinner, LOL.

We have ADRs for 5:30 pm, MSEP is at 7 PM and Wishes is at 8 PM. MK closes at 8, but has evening EMH. Would we at least be able to get there in time to enjoy WISHES?

Do you think there is enough time to get to the MK to see the parade? It's just my DH & me and we're pretty fast walkers if we need to be. I'm hoping that since there is EMH, that most people will want to see the parade & fireworks closer to the castle hub and we'll be able to find a spot near the beginning of Main Street.

Do you think we have a shot at it?

TIA for your comments.

To have a nice relaxed, enjoyable dinner...that isn't enough time.

If you wanted to just do dinner and Wishes from MK, then I say it is right on the mark.

Maybe do the parade another night?

I agree, that isn't going to work. In addition to your dining time(which would almost certainly be over an hour), you must factor-in getting to the park either on foot or monorail, and then you still need to get to a place from which to view the parade. I think you'd want more like 2.5 hours to be comfortable.:earsboy:

Why not do something like The Plaza or a counter service place so you get the parade and Wishes? It's definitely a trade off, but to me, CG feels like a place to slow down and relax and not rush. I wouldn't do it that way, JMOO.

Unless you are only going to order 1 course, I would not recommend doing that.

I would not rush through dinner a CG. Pick either dinner or the parade. You can watch Wishes from the CG.

DW and I have been in and out of Cali Grill in about that BUT we sat at the bar and only have a glass of wine and a flatbread.

Cali Grill is about the dining experience if you go for a meal, I'd allot at least 1 1/2 hours to a typical meal (assuming you are seated on time).

I don't know the last time I saw Wishes in the park, too crowded. Much prefer standing on the conservation deck with a cocktail and enjoying the show (after a nice meal).

OK. It seems to be unaminous. :teeth:

The dinner is more important to me this time, so we'll just enjoy it and maybe catch the sunset.

We can do the parade and WISHES another time.

Thanks for your responses.
