Can you do Fantasmic dinner package with dining plan?

We have the magic your way plus dining plan. Does anybody know if we can do the Fantasmic dinner package with the dining plan? Thanks!

I asked this and was told no by CM at Disney Dining. We are just planning on getting there early to get seating for show.

Yes you can!!!!!!!!! I made my Resi at H&V before knowing about the VIP
seating at Fantasmic. I was on the mywd and got my pass when I asked for it. When we went in and made the LONG walk we were told by the cm's that we could sit anywhere (had about 45 min yet)if we wanted a better view. The VIP seating is to the right of the show and we found great spots in the center area. which is right next to the VIP seats. Have fun!!

Not quite sure if the Fantasmic Package is just VIP seating or extra things. But you can get the VIP seating.

We were also considering this........... I thought we couldn't do it as well on the dining plan??? I will still ask when it's time to make our ADR's, not holding my breath though...............

i ate at Hollywood and Vine at MGM with the dinning plan and got VIP seats to fantasmic with the dinning plan but the walk from the restraunt was long

We just used the dining package for a FDP meal at Mama Melrose's two weeks ago. All of the formal documentation and most of the people I talked to said no, but the waitress said yes.

This was the first time we had ever used the FDP package. The food was very good, and it was nice not to have to wait in line to get into Fantasmic.

How many credits did you use? Did you use one for each person in your party, just like a character meal? Can you use the credits for the adults only and pay out of pocket for kids?

We used one credit per person just like any other meal.

Sorry, we didn't ever try to use credits for adults and pay for kids, so I can't help you out there.
