Can You Convert Undercover Tourist Tickets into an AP?

My parents want to get a flex AP but Saturday is booked, so we want to buy a 3 day park hopper ticket and convert it into a Flex AP on Monday. Can you convert tickets purchased on Undercover Tourist into and AP, or do we need to buy the tickets direct from Disneyland? Thanks!

You are buying a ticket at a discount, but you will typically be credited full price for that ticket when you upgrade it to an annual pass. Make sure you upgrade by the last day of your trip while your ticket is still valid, not after.

One note -- if your parents are planning to use MaxPass, they should buy the hopper tickets from UCT with MaxPass included, so that the value of MaxPass is credited toward the upgrade. If they buy it daily, they likely will not receive credit toward the upgrade or will receive credit only for one day's purchase, based on all the reports on the FlexPass thread.

If you get an early entry day with your regular park ticket, it must be used before you upgrade to an AP. Learned this the hard way. Any perks you have with your park ticket are immediately lost the second you upgrade to an AP unless your AP also includes them.

Definitely recommend this tip although if you don’t, you can still occasionally get all MaxPass days applied. Depends on the CM helping you. Keep all of your email receipts for the upgrade to increase your chances.
