Can you check out the Gaylord Palms atrium, shops, etc. if you aren't staying there?

We are planning to go over to see the Ice exhibit on our December trip, and I was wondering if we would be able to wander around in the atrium a bit to see what it's like, check out the shops, etc. I'm thinking we might want to stay there next time, but I'd like to check it out first. I'm not talking about using the pools, etc. - just wandering around to see it all.

Yes you can. Unless you have some type of special package with the Ice exhibit you'll have to pay for parking. Even resort guests pay.

You will need to pay for parking - I believe it's $7 - and its a loooonnnggg walk to the hotel. Valet parking is $15. We stopped by in July, and talked the valet into letting us park there for 10 minutes (for free) so we could take a peek. BIG hotel.
