Can you change how you pay for CRT after you make the reservations?

So I just made my ADRs and got CRT and paid with cc for the reservation. I was wondering, if we change our ressie to include the dining plan, would we be able to apply the dining credits and get a refund on the cc?

Yes, but we weren't able to get a refund until our actual reservation when we ate there.

i did this on one of my trips. i guess i lucked up with a CM that didn't know how to do it or was new so a manager got on and refunded my money to me right away and notated the dining plan.
