Can you carry your bags on the rides?

Sorry, I haven't been to WDW in years and wasn't a mom then! Can we carry regular small bags on the rides or will we need a fanny pack for that? Dd has juvenile diabetes and we will have to have her emergency injection device and some small food items with us at all times. Hypoglycemia can set in quickly and what if a ride were stuck for some time also etc.

What can I take on the actual rides themselves?

Yes all rides can have most bags on them .We take our backpack and loop a leg through and put them at our feet on the big rides ( coaster ) .

Most even have a place to store your bags noe so you shouldn't have a problem.

tmt martins-Thanks for the answer! I was planning on getting a fanny pack, but have seen some other small cuter bags that will work just as well as long as we can wear them on the rides. Since we can, I think I will get that instead!

My Dm picked up an L.L.Bean small sling bag and DW has a Camelpac daytripper backpack it has the water ,1 big pouch and a smaller pocket up front.And we took them on everything.

I hope you guys have a great time we just got back and Istarted doing ADR's for our Dec trip.

This is one area where Disney completely differs from Universal. On many of their big rides, you have to leave everything in a locker outside the building. It's free, and it's nice that they provide the facility, but it's a pain to do sometimes. At Disney you carry just about everything with you. I much prefer the Disney policy.
