Can you buy points at HH and use on site?

Ok, Since HH and VB are cheaper per point in general, and you buy into DVC with HH as your home resort, and then just use your points at DW?

Just trying to figure out the best way to join as soon as the CC is paid off!!! Haven't told my hubby about my plan, but figure a you want a boat, I get Disney trade will work in the end!

If you buy at HH, you have an 11 month window to book ressies there and a 7 month window for the other resorts. However, you should buy where you want to stay because it is my understanding that that COULD change, it is not part of the contract, it's part of DVC management policy. No one really expects it to change, but every so often people on this board bring up the idea that it could happen, so buyer beware.

at this time - yes you can - but with all of Disney being bid on - for the future - who knows?

buy where you want to stay. then you won't be disappointment.

OKW is not that much more expensive is it?

if you want to stay at WDW anytime after Thanksgiving until around Dec 18 - definitely buy on WDW property. this is hard for WDW DVC members to get - so for off-site I would say just about impossible.
