We are going to Disney in June and staying in a family suite at the ALl Star Music Resort. We are flying and using the Magical Express, so we will have no car. Is there a little grocery store on site/ at the resort where you can buy like a gallon of milk or some OJ to keep in the refrigerator in the room? Just curious. THanks!

don't know about a gallon - but a quart definitley. just go look in the gift shop - if not there the food court. but sometimes it is cheaper in the gift shop.

All Disney resorts have a gift shop with some groceries in them. They have refrigerated shlves for perishables so your milk and juice are no problem. And as mentioned, the food court will have containers of milk and juice in their "to go" section. Prices will be higher than the outside world but you can get what you want.

I've stayed at the All Star Music and Movie, we didn't have a refrigerator unless you rented one for $10 per night. Does the family suite have refrigerators?
Maestro Mickey's has a cooler section.

I just completed my order for Garden grocer....was super easy.

We plan on hitting parks early AM and breakfasts in the rooms....I basically just ordered cereals, milk, juices, and snack bars.....for 7 people....I also ordered bottled water.

It came out to $80....would figure to spend that just on bottled water at the parks or resorts.

I also suggest using gardengrocer.com.

We pack light, dry foods like cereal and granola bars in our luggage. We use gardengrocer.com for milk, cheese, butter, bagels and heavy items like water.
2 half gallons of milk should fit in your refrigerator. A whole gallon doesn't fit in most resort refrigerators. I am not sure about the refrigerators at ASMusic.

Hope this helps :goodvibes

There are also convenience stores attached to the Hess gas stations on Disney property. The easiest one to get to without a car is the one that is opposite Pleasure Island. Just take the Downtown Disney bus to the second stop (first is Marketplace, second is Pleasure Island) and cross the street to the Hess gas station. There is a light to cross by. They have quite a large selection of food and drinks there .

The last time I looked at Pop the half gallons of milk were $2.99 so I would bet they are the same at ASMu. They are also $2.99 at gardengrocer.com.

I have used gardengrocer.com and was very happy with them. I will use them again in August when I stay at the ASMu family suites in August.

AVACWDW-the family suites have a small fridge, coffee maker and microwave. Can't wait to try them.

We are staying at the Poly next week and were trying to decide if we should order from Garden Grocer, or just find some basics when we arrive. We will want to buy bottled water, juice and soymilk. Does anyone know if we'll be able to buy a half gallon of soymilk anywhere on-site, or should we do the Garden Grocer order?

We stayed at POR with Dining Plan in 2007 - we had so many snack credits we finally discovered we could get a quart of milk as a snack...goes along way for morning cereal we had packed in our suitcase!

Have fun!

We have used wegoshop.com 5 times and always been totally satisfied. I believe that Garden Grocer has a minimum order of $50 which wegoshop.com does not. We were able to schedule the delivery when we wanted - not a range of hours, and they were always right on time. The groceries were delivered right to our room. The cost was the cost of the groceries plus a $17 delivery fee. We believed we saved that over buying at the Disney stores where a bottle of water is $2.50
We ate breakfast in each day and we ordered a case of bottled water, juice, coffee, breakfast things, beer, wine, cheese and crackers and snacks.
We were totally happy with there service and I would use them again.
I have seen other threads here on the DIS asking about Soy milk and I believe the answer was that it was not available.
