Can you buy Disney Giftcards with Disney Giftcards?

We bought several Disney Giftcards at Lowes this weekend with the Lowes store card because they are offering 18-months financing.

I saw the new Holiday Gift cards they are offering at the Parks with the exclusive Ornament pins. Would it be possible to buy those in the Parks with the gift cards we bought in the store? That'd be a nice "free" bonus, but I doubt it would work because you could technically buy one of the ornament cards and then use it in a chain to get all four pins. :-(

Anyone know? Thanks!

When we were there in October I tried buying the Food and Wine festival mini GC with a gift card. I didn't work! Sorry

It is my understand you can not use Gift Card to buy Gift Cards.

The computer systems will not allow the use of a Disney Gift Card to purchase a Disney Gift Card. However, if you are a Guest at a Resort you can use your room key to purchase Gift Cards and then use you existing Gift Cards to pay down your Resort folio.
