Can you buy an individual LL for the hours before MNSSHP without park ticket that day?

Basically my Q is the title. We are only doing the Halloween party this trip. Can I buy an ILL for the 4-7 timeframe on Halloween party day, or no bc I don't have a park ticket?

No. Unfortunately if you only have a party ticket you are not eligible to purchase either LLMP or LLSP. This changed in January 2024.

If you enter the park using your MNSSHP ticket your LLSP will just not work at the attraction tap point. When you enter MK after 4 PM you go through a Tap point marked for the MNSSHP and not a Tap point for regular MK park guests.

Do we have first hand reports of this? I’ve used VQ from other family that have APs on days they haven’t come to the parks and had no problem scanning in green - I wonder if the same would apply to LL.

You can only make LL selections until 6pm as that is park close. There is 1 hour between park close and the official start of the party at 7pm.

Yes we have confirmation from tests on July 24th. To use the LLMP or LLSP selections you must scan in to the park with a general ticket entitlement that holds the LLMP and/or LLSP. So your "friend" will need to tap in to the park.

Again if you only have a MNSSHP ticket you can't use the regular tap points at the park entrance. You will tap in at an Event tap point and your MNSSHP ticket entitlement does not allow you to purchase or use LLMP and/or LLSP selections with your ticket.

You are the DP folks have been wanting to see!! Of your remaining park ticket days did you have LLs of any kind booked for every day?

I had stuff booked for 7 of the 9 park days for my ticket. Plus tron on party day.

Cast members were unsure if it would work when I spoke to guest relations. But cast members at both tron and Tiana said before 6pm that they would be shutdown from 6 to 7 and that did not happen either.

I could be a first party anomaly and someone else’s experience may be different going forward. But I booked knowing the risk of what I was planning on doing. And too be perfect honest if I had known that tron would be under a 30 minute wait at 630 I would have not bothered to spend the money.

Amazing news! I had a feeling it would work if you had remaining days on a multi park ticket but no one could confirm. (And a lot of people swore to me that it wouldn't work in the other LL thread). If the system lets you make the reservation, then I figured the system/cast members would let you use it. It seems that wait times aren't terrible though so I don't know if I'll buy anything for between 4-6 on my party day

Like they said above AP should work as long as it lets you book a LL. But if you ONLY have a party ticket, then it won't let you book LLs in the first place so it wouldn't work.

Ahh we have already confirmed that APs are not limited to after 2 PM. APs Guests do need to make a park reservation unless Disney has marked the day as Good to Go.

So you attended the MNSSHP on August 9th? When did you purchase your LLSP for Tron? Did you happen to purchase it along with LLMP selections at another park, maybe as a second LLSP?

What type of tickets were you using, Dated or Un-dated?
