Can you bring your own food into the parks?

I know at Disney you can pack your own food like snacks, sandwiches, and water as long as you don't have a big cooler. Does Universal allow you to bring food and drinks into the parks? Does Universal have any specific guidelines posted anywhere?

Yes...you can bring in snacks, sandwiches, etc.

You can also bring those space age looking water bottles, my wife has one and has brought it in many times.

Still applies. I bring a sandwich and water bottle with me pretty much everyday that I go.

Technically, you can't bring in outside food or drinks but, realistically, you will most likely be able to bring it in. But never for Halloween Horror Nights.
