We don't fly much but we will be flying SW to WDW July 12-19. I was wondering if you can bring suckers and gum in your purse or carryon for the kids to suck on? They have never flown before. I usually give them a decongestion when we drive through the mountains and will do it again before we fly. I jus thought candy would help too.

Thanks.

I actually called TSA and asked about jellied fruit snacks and you can also bring them in carry-on luggage.

yup, we always bring gum, lifesavers, etc
:)

Also, remember that once you are past security, you can buy items in the terminal that would not be allowed through security and bring them on board. If you buy a bottle of water in the terminal after passing through security you can bring it on the plane, you just can't bring a bottle of water through security.
