Can you bring in bottles of water and/or snacks to the parks?

Its not a problem to bring water and snacks into the parks. Just remember, no coolers and no glass containers. There is information about what is and isn't acceptable on hte Disney website. Have fun!!

Thanks, I'm asking about Universal, not Disney.

I'm here now and brought on a bottle if water with no problem. They don't seem to care.

Daytime inspections aren't as thorough as inspections for evening events like HHN or Mardi Gras but they do care. As long as it's not glass there should be no problems.

Thanks, all. Going in the summer, so it will be very hot. Just hoping to bring in a couple of bottles of water.:)

We brought in sandwiches and snacks plus beverages this past August, and none of the bag inspectors said a word! Of course no glass, soft insulated lunch bag.
My husband is vegatarian, and while we adore Universal, veg.quick service food is not their strong point!

I *think* the poster meant they don't care about water. Not that they just don't care. :)

LOVE the veggie burgers at Richters. 3 Broomsticks has a vegetarian (I've asked and it's been confirmed multiple times, once by a vegetarian TM who works at Broomsticks) potato leek soup that is (almost always) scrumptious, and they have veggies and roasted potatoes that are good.

On the other side, I tried their "health" sandwich (or something like that) at the sandwich place entering US and it was awful to my palate.

You can stop at any food stand that serves fountain soda, and get FREE glasses of water. Way more convenient than carrying around bottles!! :)
