Just wondering can you bring bottled water into DLP how strict is the security? If the kids need drinks during the day can they not bring their own 7up ect bottles in?

I always bring my own. It's cheaper at the Relay in the train station

As bavaria says it is cheaper to buy outwith the park, so a fair few visitors will bring drinks from outside and/or fill bottles with water from the fountains while in the park :)

we bring in juice and snacks security always look in our bags and then say on you go no problem and sometimes we have 6 small bottles crisps snacks etc never been turned away so i would not worry it certainly is a lot cheaper than buying everything in the parks as i feel we spend plenty on other things there like meals and gifts etc so they still make enough money out of us LOL

I don't think security is actually looking for the people sneaking in a bottle of coke or a roll from breakfast........

We always bring stuff with us, the only time we do buy food/drinks in park are dinners, the first lunch of the trip and the odd snack/ice cream

I buy pop / water in Relay (Coke is 1.50 as opposed to 2.70 in the park).

I'm not tight and i don't mind paying over the odds while in the parks for some things (like food, snacks etc.)

But I think charging twice the price for a bottle of pop you can buy on the doorstep is taking it a bit too far...

We brought some bottles in and no one said a word. Security looked at it but nothing happened. Although some people told us before that they will take them away... But we did not see that.

We bought lunch in the parc the first day and it was so busy, overpriced and horrible we took sandwiches for the other 2 days. Will do the same again this time.

We left the picnic in the car and hubby went to collect it while we went on a ride in Studios then we met him just outside and had our picnic. Packed it in tinfoil and had cartons so no tupperware etc. to carry around after we had eaten it.

Hi!

Offically, there is the rule at DLP, that you are not allowed to bring your own food and beverages into the theme parks. You have to eat it outside the parks at a picnic area near the parking lot.

But they do not enforce this rule. You will be fine bringing your own food and beverages, unless you have a huge amount of those things. And of course you are not allowed to bring glass bottles for security reasons (except baby food wich is fine in glass containers).

The rule only exists to prevent that people bring huge amounts of food into the parks and eat it at the tables of counter service restaurants and leave their litter behind. Noone will say anything against bringing your own snacks into the parks. :goodvibes

I wish you a magical stay at Disneyland Resort Paris!
