I'm finding the DLP website to be rather uninformative. And also didn't find much about this salon else where. Can this be booked ahead of time over the phone? is there a certain time in advance I am allowed to do this?

This is something that is done in the DLH. You are best emailing them and asking them if they are open on your dates for PFAD as it can be closed .

I think that the cost of it means that few people do it and that people often prefer to have their childrens face painted in either the Studios or near the Castle rather than make up etc.

Here is the email adress dlp.dlh.boutique@disney.com

You usually have to book in person in the hotel when you arrive and you pay then, they don't like reserving too far in advance :)

You can't book in advance.

DD is very lucky to have had this experience twice, and both times we emailed we were told we had to book once we arrived. We are returning in two weeks and, just incase, we emailed the address above last week and asked if it was possible to book in advance now - and we got the same reply as always, that it has to be done in person and no guarantee of specific dates can be made.

We have never had a problem getting a slot on the day we wanted, booking less than 24 hours in advance.
