We have been to WDW and DL several times and have a pretty good handle on planning that. Having difficulty getting going with researching/booking options for Disney Paris.

When I go to Disney.com and click in Disneyland Paris it takes me to a site disneylandparis.co.uk and the prices are in euros. Can we book through this site from the U.S. or is this only for UK residents? I don't want to book on this site and then get there and encounter problems with the booking. If this site is not for US residents where can I find the right site?

Does anyone know if Disney offers any kind of military rates for their overseas properties? I haven't found any info on that.

Thank you for your help. I am in unchartered waters planning this trip.

Disneyland Paris offers different rates/discounts for different countries so its worth looking on other countries sites to come up with the best offers - people do this all the time and DLP accept it is done.
If I remember correctly when you go on the official dlp site there is a drop down box for different countries just change that to look. When you book put in your real address but leave the country as the one the offer is on - e.g. your US address with country saying France or UK etc

Make sure you check the currency the offer is in - the UK site will show it in £sterling not Euros whereas most other European countries including Ireland will be in Euros.

I don't think DLP do a military discount but Im not definite

@MomToPirate&Princess yes the PP is correct. I just booked a trip to DLP in February. I live in Ireland but I checked 3 different countries

www.disneylandparis.co.uk
www.disneylandparis.ie
www.disneylandparis.fr

I had all 3 open in different tabs and could easily compare the dates, hotels and prices.

I eventually chose the offer on the French website

I rang the contact number on the Irish website and was transferred to the French call centre. The lady I spoke to spoke English and I had no issue booking the French offer even though I am from Ireland.

Just be careful though, they really try to push extras like character dining, meal plans, insurance, transport when you book by phone.

I paid a 15 % deposit over the phone. The balance is due 30 days before my arrival. The balance can be paid over the phone OR online

When you book through a different country booking system, you need to create a My Disney Account on THAT website.
My previous trip was booked through the Irish website, so I have a My Disney Account on www.disneylandparis.ie THIS trip was booked on the French website, so I went to www.disneylandparis.fr and created a new My Disney Account.

Everything is exactly the same, just a different language.

I did a search and found this http://www.forcesdiscount.com/providers/disneyland-paris it would be a good idea to ask when you ring Disneyland Paris as the discount seems to be on Park Tickets ONLY and not including hotel. You CAN get a room only rate at Disneyland Paris, they dont advertise this as they want people to book the packages. Many people have AP and ring up to book a room only.

DLP does offer Military discounts to NATO service personal based in Europe.

One offer is 50% off adult and child park tickets. Two day two Park tickets for Disneyland Paris for €69.50 for adults and €63 for children (3-11 yrs). You need to purchase the tickets at the entrance to Park and present your military ID card.

They also offer up to a 30% discount off package prices if staying on site. These can be applied for via your base welfare office - HIVE for UK personal.

Hey Tink :-)

I paid the 15% deposit with the rest 30 days before departure. How do you pay the balance on-line..? I know they take it automatically for a like debit but can you manually make payments on-line

You need to create a My Disney Account on the website which corresponds to the country you booked with, not the country you live in. For example I live in Ireland but I booked with the French call centre for the French offer. I then had to create a new My Disney Account on the French website. You need your booking reference number and the last name of the person who made the booking. Once you create you My Disney Account (baring in mind it may be in a language you dont understand) all you booking information, dates, hotel etc will come up. It will show how much the total package costs, how much you have paid (the 15 % deposit) and how much you owe. There is an online payment form halfway down the page.

Yes I have done that as per your instructions but it does not give me any live links to pay for some reason...
