Hello all! I am toying with the idea of booking a room at the Comfort Inn for the day of our next cruise so we can go to Atlantis. First, do I have to book it for the number of people I would need wristbands for? There are 5 of us and the web site says 5 exceeds the maximum occupancy for the room. Am I out of luck? Thanks!

If 5 exceeds the maximum capacity, I don't think even a roll away would do it. There is a difference between capacity and sleeping places.

You'd probably have to do 2 rooms - one for 2 and one for 3.

Probably best to call them.

That sounds right…I don't know if it's worth the trouble. I'm waiting to see if Universal's water park opens before then and we would just do that. By the time I'd have to book our excursions (in March), I should have a better idea. If we really want to go then I'll just book through Disney and not have to worry about transportation.

Thanks!

when we went (14 years ago), disney didn't offer the atlantis water park, so i booked the comfort inn..
it wasn't all that cheap, plus we had to get there on our own, check in and out and all of that nonsense...
certainly not easy.....and again, not cheap..
had disney offered it as an excursion, i would have done it through disney....
even if disney is more, it's worth it to eliminate the hassle...
