Can you book a SW flight with a combo of points & SW vouchers?

Hubby & I have a trip booked all with points this coming weekend to CA but I just remembered that I have a voucher that needs to be used by next Feb. but we are not planning on flying anywhere anytime soon! Will SW let me keep the price I paid but apply the voucher amounts I have & just refund me the excess points? Also is there a place to check how much I have left on the vouchers? TIA for any help/advice you can give!

No unfortunately, you need to have the full amount of points in order to book with points. You can't even use the vouchers for the taxes. It stinks but if you don't have enough pts for a round trip you can always book separate one way flights. Use points for one and pay with voucher for the other.


ETA: Sorry just re-read your OP. You would have to cancel your original flight with pts and rebook using vouchers.

Try the above link. If it doesn’t work, you can find it on SW’s web site—I always have to search for it. Maybe search “Travel funds balance.”
At any rate, you will need the confirmation number of the original flight that you canceled/changed.
