Can you book a last minute cruise on points?

Hi there. Anyone done this? Do you just call Member Services for availablity? By last minute, I mean between now and the end of the year...

also, how are the prices if you need to pay for one person in the room?

Yes you can. The prices are all over the place. The couple of times I checked, I found them to be a little bit more than a discount travel agent but less than what is listed by DCL. But it could be different for every trip based on a lot of factors (such as season and how close to the trip you are and how full the boat is).

Yes you can book a cruise. Call Member Services (option3) and then choose Option 2 and then Option 1. I am not sure about the availability, but if you are not picky about dates and flexible on cabin sizes, you will probably get something.

The point price does not change. It is a pre-negotiated amount - no specials for last minute cruisers.

As for single occupancy. I am not sure about point price, but the cash price runs somewhere around 1 1/2 times the "per person rate based on dbl occupancy." If you call and find out, report back and let us know.
