Can you book a DEDICATED 2BR Villa at BCV with the cash discount?

I want to pay points for Sun-Thur, and then pay cash with the 25% discount for Sat-Sun. My question is will they let you do that for a dedicated 2BR at BCV, and if so, will you have to move?

Only if a dedicated 2 bedroom happens to be available for discount. In all likelihood you would have to move.

My understanding is that the dedicated 2 bedroom units with 2 queens in the second bedroom are not ever made available for cash - they are members only and must be booked with points. CRO/WDWTC and even members cannot use cash for those units.

AFAIK, you could book the other 2 bedroom units for cash (if available) and even get the member cash discount on them (if available).

If you book cash nights through MS, you will not have to move.

If you book cash nights through CRO/WDWTC, you may have to move. At a minimum, you will have to check out and back in again.

I would say YES! because i have a cash discount night for may 20th for a 2 bedroom dedicated at BCV. I actually wanted a lock-off, and they told me to get the cash discount, it would HAVE to be a dedicated. they also linked my cash and points reservation, so hopefully i wont have to move.

Maybe I need to clarify -

BCV have 3 different 2 bedroom configurations:

1. Dedicated with two queens in the second bedroom
2. Dedicated with one queen and a sleep sofa (queen size) in the second bedroom
3. Lock off 2 bedroom, which is a 1 bedroom with interior door to a studio. Studio also has 1 queen bed and a sleep sofa.

It's only the dedicated 2 bedroom with the two queens that is never available for cash. There are only a few of these and they are a popular request, so it was decided to keep them for members booking on points.

Lock offs are usually not available for cash at the BCV. That's because the demand for 1 bedrooms and especially studios is so high, those units are almost always booked for points, so there is no "unreserved for points inventory" to allow cash booking by members.

Anyway, members have gotten 2 bedrooms for cash at the BCV, but only the untis with the queen bed and sleep sofa in the second bedroom .

Thanks for that info, i didn't know there were 2 types of dedicated 2 bedrooms at BCV.
