Can you bank twice in one UY?

Just bought in at AKV and I already have a banking question.

I want to use my 100 developer points for a Thanksgiving stay Nov. 23-28th at HHI and I will need 105 points for my stay. Thus, I'll need to save 5 of my 2007 points and not bank them.

Now, since I cannot make my reservation for HHI until 7 months prior I'm gambling on the fact that I'll actually get a reservation. What would happen if I couldn't get a reservation at HHI, could I then bank those 5 2007 points. (Sept. UY)?

You can bank any or all of your points up till the end of the eighth month of your use year. As long as you are within that eight month period, you can bank as many times as you want until all points are banked. Thus, whether you can bank will simply depend on whether you are within the first eight months of your use year when you do it (in your case on or before April 30).

With a September Use Year, you should be able to bank point thru the end of April. Members may bank points until the end of the 8th month of their Use Year.

You could also bank your remaining points from the 2007 Use Year and still borrow points from your 2008 Use Year for the HH reservation, if available.

Even if the full reservation is not available when you first call at 7 months, I'd have confidence that the waitlist would work successfully for your dates.
