Can you bank point if you change resorts

Hi, can someone help. If I booked our home resort at 11 months (VWL) then changed for a few days at VB, which is less points, would I be able to bank the points difference (VB being less than WL) to the following year?

Sure, as long as you are within your banking window (less than 8 months into your use year) and the points were current use year points (not banked from previous year and not borrowed from next year) or in holding (cancellation or change within 30 days of checkin).
