Can you add your ticket & maxx pass purchase ahead of time if purchase tickets ahead of time?

We are taking a trip to DL in late April. We are going to purchase our tickets ahead of time from Disneyland.com and are going to add the Max Pass. Can we scan the tickets and load them to the Disneyland app ahead of time or do we need to wait until we enter the park to do it? Thought if we could do it ahead of time it would save us time after we enter the park. If we do add them how do we do that.

Yes you can. If you buy them under the same account that you use for the app (same email address) they should automatically show up. If not you can scan the bar codes through the app and add them that way. Another option would be to buy them directly through the app.

So they do not mail you tickets? Everything is by email and on the app? This is only our second trip to DL we arer used to WDW and the magic bands doing everything. Thanks for the help.

That is correct. They will email you a digital ticket (aka voucher) that you can take directly to the gate. When you activate it the first time they will give you a credit card size paper ticket and take your picture. The bar code on the voucher, physical ticket and in the app are the same so you can use whichever you find more convenient.

You can save quite a bit of money buying the tickets through last minute travel club. Click through until it offers you free membership.

Then click on Anaheim attractions. Don’t search Disneyland.

Not until you go through the turnstile/gate. Then you can add MP.
