Can you add tickets to Room Only?

we already have reservation for March 2014 and received a RO discount. Can we add tickets to that and keep discount? figure with dinning we come out cheaper sharing meals and skipping buffets. don't eat enough food to pay the buffet prices.

Yep, you can. I just booked a RO deal for Pop and was easily able to add on park tickets to make it a Magic Your Way package. I still got the discount.

I also am not a fan of dining plans so that's why I went with RO. I'll save money by not getting a dining plan.

When you add tickets you don't want to make it a package. If you leave it as room only with tickets then you don't have to pay the balance of the room until check in, but you do have to pay in full for the tickets. And you can get a full refund on the tickets and the room deposit if you cancel at least five days ahead of check in. But if you make it a package, you have to pay in full 45 days ahead of time and there is a $200 fee if you cancel before the 45 days.

I guess the only benefit to making it a package is that you don't have to pay for the tickets until the 45 day out date, but having to pay in full at 45 days and having a $200 penalty for early cancellation kind of negates the benefit a bit.

Thanks for yours reply. yes and their package rules for 2014 are more binding. Any changes after the 45 day mark is a 5.00 fee or 15$ fee. even to apply a code or pin and a day for change a person out to add a person.

If you don't want to make it a package, you want to buy the tickets separate (better via UT for a slight discount) and then link them to MDE so you'll be able to pick FP+ at the 60 day mark.
