Can you add someone to ME at airport?

We are planning a spur of the momenet trip. It is now Sunday and we are just booking for Friday. It will be me, my 2 kids, sister-in-law and one son. If we get to MCO and have a ressie for 6 would be a problem if one more person was with us (3 year old Sister in law not sure if he will be going or not until very last min)
Any experiences from the past?

With all the controversy (from other transportation providers, and the airport authority) and given that Magical Express is a free service, PLEASE reserve for the maximum number of Guests in your party. DME is apparently supposed to be transporting only Guests with advance reservations. If the sixth person in your party ends up not going, no problem. Just tell the CM when you check in at the ME counter.

When we made arrangements for some of our family to use DME (we had a rental car), WDW told us you can do it in advance or at the airport but the only requirement was that the person's name HAS to be on a room reservation, not the lead person, but has to be listed in a Disney room. If your SIL decides to go at the last minute, you will need to call WDW and add her name to a room as a Disney guest, so that when the DME CM pulls up the ressie, they will see her listed.

If you are unsure of how many will be going to Disney, reserve Magical Express space anyway. You can delete ME reservations at the last minute but initial reservations need to be done in advance. The last official rule was 10 days in advance although it does not hurt to try later, not mentioning any deadlines.

All persons will need to be on room reservations at the time of making the ME reservation. In a sense, ME can catch guests trying to have too many people staying in a room.
