Can you add minor child's name on Direct DVC Purchase?

We are looking on buying 150 poly points directly through disney. Is it possible to add my children's name on the deed? They are not yet 18 years old. Do they ask for ages when you buy the contract?

They would have to be 18 if the property is located in Florida. The other states where DVC properties are located will likely have the same requirement.

No, a minor child can not legally sign any legal documents. They would have to be at the age of majority of the state that the property is located.

And as your children approach the age of 18, think very carefully of the implications of adding them to your deed as owners. Would you add them as co-owners of your house? DVC would count as an asset for them when applying for college loans, for one thing.
