Can you add magic my way tickets to room key?

Can you add magic my way or does it have to be los?

MYW can be added to your room key - I checked with CRO guest services and the front desk at POR (called the POR number and asked to be put through to a front desk supervisor).

So even if you are checking in on a Sunday and checking out on a Friday, but are only buying 4-day MYW tickets, they can be put on your hotel key? Do you purchase them right at the hotel desk? I suppose you would be forgoing any advance purchase savings by doing this but it would be convenient. I was under the impression that in order to have the admission tickets on your hotel key, the ticket had to equal the number of days you were at the hotel.

Thanks for the help. I priced tickets via WDW and Ticketmania. Ticketmania is around $7 a ticket cheaper.

With the new MYW ticket you can also pre-purchase them (through Disney) for the advanced purchase price and trade the tickets that you receive prior to arrival in at the front desk and they can put them on your Room cards (this was never an option)... they take the entitlement numbers from the tickets that you have and they re-encode the same ticket onto the room key for you (it is a very nice feature). Also just to clarify, you can purchase any amount of days and have them on your room key they do not have to match the amount of days your reservation is for (thus the "Your way" part of the ticket)... this was always the case even with the old tickets you could buy any type of ticket avalaible for sale (except annuals of course) and have it on your room key.

Thank you for that reply! One more question - do you have to purchase through Disney in order to have the admission put on your hotel key? In other words, can tickets from other brokers be attached to your key?

They are no longer called length-of-stay passes - they are your MYW tickets added to your room key. It is called "key to the world" which allows your room passes and park passes to be on one plastic card with your name on it. Just like they have always done for the DCL vacations.

You can have any amount of days added to your room key, they can be ordered as late as 5 days before your arrival.

If you order them in advance and decide not to go to WDW, they can be cancelled and are refundable if you call 5 days (technically 6) days prior to arrival.

Ok fellow DIS'ers lets see if anyone can answer this question I have. I booked my trip in kind of a odd way because of the room situation I had with getting the rooms I want at Disney. My family is staying at WDW April 27th through May 4th. We arive on the 27th at 7 pm and have 2 nights booked at the AKL checking out on the 29th and moving to the Poly. I'm going to buy the tickets for the parks soon and I only need them for 4/28 to 5/3 since I'll be leaving early on the 4th. I booked the AKL (water view) rooms through Disney but I had to book my GV rooms at the Poly through Expedia because at the time all Disney had was CGV or CLV and I couldn't afford to do that. My question is since my trip is broken up like that will I be able to have my tickets on my room keys? I was told by the cm when I called Disney for prices on the tickets that if I buy them a couple of weeks before I leave and leave them on will call I should be able to put them on the room keys. Does this make any sense to you and have any of you ever heard of this before? If I can put them on my keys what about when I go to the Poly, will they be transfered to that room key? I need some help here because I'm confused! LOL!

Your room card is good until midnight of the day you check out. So would get a different card at the next resort. Buy the number of days you need at the new resort.

I don't think there is a way to transfer days to a new card but I could be mistaken.
