We are staying at Sheraton Vistana Resort-2 adults and 2 older teens. Once we get to a park or the Disney Transportation Center, can we use the WDW transportation system to go to the parks? There is a public bus from near our hotel to the Transportation Center and I am hoping the teens can go on their own by stopping at the Transportation center and then using park transportation to MK, Epcot, Blizzard Beach, etc.

Most definitely you can use the monorail, buses and boats! The only thing that would be unavailable to you (perk for on-site guests only) would be the extra magic hours. Have a fantastic trip. :goodvibes

I'm not sure about the buses to the water parks - I think I remember that Typhoon Lagoon bus is a stop on the Downtown Disney bus from the resorts. Therefore, you wouldn't be able to get there from the parks.

There is monorail/boat transportation from the TTC to the MK. Monorail transportation to EPCOT and buses to DHS and AK.

I'm not sure about the water parks. Getting off the Lynx bus and walking or taking a taxi to Typhoon Lagoon makes the most sense.

Alternately walk over to SSR and take a bus to the water parks. Getting off the Lynx bus at DTD and walking over to SSR might be a better way to go to DHS, EPCOT and the water parks.

I hope you're using Lynx to supplement a rental car. I'm not sure how long the walk will be from Vistana to the bus stop.

I've been downloading Lynx information. Also, I don't mind dropping the teens off and then having them take a taxi home. I just think it will be more fun for them and less expensive to get around on their own a bit. I also don't want to constantly play taxi myself. We have some days planned to all be together but others where they will go off on their own and my friend and I can will chill at the pool!

I really appreciate any more transportation tips people have. We will have a car but the adults are not as theme park focused as the teens.

YOu can leave a theme park (or park drop off spot for off-site resort shuttles) for a resort and transfer to a Blizzard Beach bus (or Typhoon Lagoon/Downtown bus) in the same fashion as a Disney's resort guest.

From some parks (I forget which) one or more resorts' buses make a stop at BB first.

Uh oh. Now I am confused.
From Epcot, take the Coronado Springs bus for Blizzard Beach.
From Hollywood Studios take the Animal Kingdom Lodge bus for BB.
From ANimal Kingdom, take any bus except the All Stars or AK Lodge bus but service to BB does not begin until 11 AM.

You can get a bus to the water parks from any resort. From the ttc the poly bus would be the closest.

We are staying off-site at the Sheraton Vistana Resort but maybe you mean we can get a Disney Bus from any Disney Resort. I think it will work out well. Drop teens off at the park of their choice and let them hop around like maniacs while my friend and I hug Mickey and then go back to the resort pool to relax.

We also have tickets for Universal/IOA and probably will be adding an "After 3 pm" ticket to SeaWorld. There is so much to do! One week is not enough!

This board is great. I just booked my roundtrip private transfer based on advice here.
